poller gives errors for scripts only, not for snmp-requests

Post by netgnom »

Hallo @ all,

i'm trying to replace the cmd.php by cactid. Most of the graphs (snmp-requests) are working fine. But all graphs who takes their results vom scripts, don't update.

Software:
windows2003Server,
cacti-0.8.6g
cacti-cactid-0.8.6f-1
php5
Mysql4.01

In the cacti.log appears the following error:
12/09/2005 02:25:08 PM - CACTID: Poller[0] Host[8] DS[123] WARNING: Result from SCRIPT not valid. Partial Result: ...
12/09/2005 02:25:08 PM - CACTID: Poller[0] Host[8] ERROR: Empty result [is24-rh-gis01]: 'd:/web/cacti/scripts/monit_gis_e.pl is24-rh-gis01'

if i'm calling the script directly from commandline (php d:\web\cacti\poller.php) i see on the same measurement points this error:
"ERROR: Not enough arguments"

It seems to me, that cactid needs some more arguments, but wich? Or may be, i make a configuration error?

greetings,
Ilona

I'm having the same problem, on a similar setup, and wanted to try the beta version referenced but I can't find it.

Can someone point me in the right direction to download the beta version of cactid - pre-compiled if possible.

Thanks!
