Weathermap : how to install and configure on FreeBSD

Post by sharafian »

Hi

I have installed weathermap , CGAT (and gdlib ),and make install "GD-1.8" .but I cannot run ./weathermap by these errors :

i did the following steps :
ungzip CGAT_0.910.tar.gz
tar xvf CGAT_0.910.tar
Perl module GD (GD.pm) is not installed, you will have to compile it. Unzip and untar GD.pm.tar.gz, and follow the directions. To determine if GD is installed, type 'perl -e "use GD"'. no error occured .
MFEZ installed
ungzip MZEF.tar.gz
tar xvf MZEF.tar

but I dont know how to run it .
the Perl_set but Error occured
and how to use '/perl_path/perl -I/CGAT_path/CGAT'
and how to use 'set path...'

would you please help to improve these problems on FreeBSD ?

thanks .

Which weathermap? There are (at least) 6 different programs called that, by 4 different authors (including me, but I don't think you are using either of my versions) - it's best to be clear about which one you mean, to save confusion.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
