Cactid needs all forward slashes in the paths. Change them and then clear your poller cache.

Go to the Console
-> Data Input Methods
-> W32 - Get Memory
Then edit the command path in the screenshot I attached. Put forward slashes instead of backslashes.

Win32 memory with cactid polling
I made the change and now i can see that the path looks right now but i am still getting the following error in the log. This is only happening when the poller is set to cactid not cmd.php
12/06/2005 02:16:04 PM - CACTID: Poller[0] Host[1] DS[232] WARNING: Result from SCRIPT not valid. Partial Result: ...

Personally I've run into problems using Cactid. For some reason it's giving a blank result. If you run it from the command line, i'm pretty sure it will complete since you have been using this before.
Any advice BSOD?

CharlieB: If that WMI script works when you run it manually and with cmd.php, then it simply is a cactid.exe issue which you'll have to resolve with TheWitness. You running the latest version (0.8.6g beta) ?
