Cisco Call Manager - Phones

Post by Instigater »

Cisco Call Manager gives draft statistics through SNMP so I made simple graph that shows Registered, Unregistered and Rejected Phones.

NB! Template is for 1 minute polling interval. Adjustment must be made to run on default Cacti setup.

I intentionaly didn't make graph templates with dependencies included. I don't want to break your RRAs. Everything should work when you make following steps.

Adjust data templates:
1. select right RRAs
2. set step to 300

Make some graphs and tell us if it is working or not.

When you say select right RRA's do you mean in after importing the template select the data template and change the data imput method?

No graphs from changing this to Get SNMP Data.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks

Hi everybody...

I am really interresting in monitor some parameteres of Cisco Call Manager Servers...

I have seen that there is no updated information about this...

I Have used the templates posted...

First I IMPORT : Data Templates (reg, inreg and rejec)

then I edited each data template added by modifying the follow:

*Data Input Method --> Get SNMP Data
*Asociated RRA --> Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly (Hourly no yet because I have not added the 1 minute Poll Patch... )

*Step --> 300

all the fields are set by the template imported...

Then I IMPORTED Graph Template "Cisco Call Manager - Phones " and edited:

Graph Template Items [edit: Cisco Call Manager - Phones]
In Each

FROM: Item # 1 (No Task): Registered Phones

TO: Item # 1 (ccm_regphones): Registered Phones

It has benn do it changing the follow:

*Data Source [Field Not Templated]
The data source to use for this graph item. --> Cisco Call Manager - REgistered.. Unregi... or Rejected

*CDEF Function
A CDEF (math) function to apply to this item on the graph. --> Total All Data Source

I did it for every Item # and taking care about denomination: REgis, UNRE, or REJEc ...

At last save what i have done and IMPORTED: HOST TEMPLATE Cisco Call Manager

IN "Associated Graph Templates" I added Graph Template: --> 1) Cisco Call Manager - Phones

at this point everything should be working... BUT NOT!

someone can add some information... adn help everybody..

help will apreciated...!!

Hi crackrocksteady,

Do you graph other stats on Call Manager ?
Like active calls for example or anything else...
