Hello,
I am having difficulties getting the wireless levels for my Karlnet's graphing. It appears that the data is being pulled from the radio, but not being displayed (all NaN's). Here is what my RRD output looks like:
/var/www/bin/rrdtool graph - \

I followed the instructions for graphing signal noise; found here:
http://forums.cacti.net/about4149.html& ... ess+levels
When enabling debug mode, I do not see any errors.
Is this a problem with my upper and lower limits? If so, could anyone shed some light on this subject (the correct upper and lower limits)?
Cacti Version 0.8.6g (patched)
Thank you.
Karlnet Wireless Levels = NaN

1) when you look in the debug, did cacti collect any data for it?
2) Look in your rrd file, does it contain any recent data (rrdtool dump filename.rrd > filename.xml)
2) Look in your rrd file, does it contain any recent data (rrdtool dump filename.rrd > filename.xml)

Ok, you're part way there.
Look at the date/time those mydevice_wrls rrd files were last updated. Are they being updated every 5 minutes? If not, then you have a permission problem. If they are, then there is something misconfigured with your data template and the max/min values. Do a rrdtool info filename.rrd and post the contents... this will show what the max/min values set in it.

Yes, they are being updated every five minutes. I have the traffic graphing for the Karlnet's; this problem only occurs when graphing the wireless levels.

Thanks for the help.
Just as I suspected, the problem is with your max value in the rrd file. You've currently got it set to 100 but your device returned something as high as 827299. Change the max in cacti AND the rrd file to something like 1000000.
