I have been searching the forums over the past few days learning tidbits of information since I've just recently started using cacti. I've been able to monitor the CPU and Bandwidth no problem.
I have cacti setup on a W2K3 box and I'm trying to monitor other W2K3 boxes. All machines have nsclient installed.
I tried to create my own script to monitor a few perfmon counters and I've constantly seeing everyone referring to check_nt. I understand this is a perl script from Nagios and I can't seem to find the right version. I have downloaded the plugin pack from Nagios's website and tried to use the check_nt from that but I get these three errors when trying to run it:
C:\usr\lib\nagios\plugins>perl check_nt.pl
Bareword "utils" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at check_nt.pl line 65.
Bareword "pm" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at check_nt.pl line 65.
BEGIN not safe after errors--compilation aborted at check_nt.pl line 66.
I'm not entirely sure I have the right version of check_nt because I couldn't find one specifically create for win32, so I'm a little lost. Can anyone offer some insight?
Thanks
