Can anyone point me in the right direction on the following error? I have been running fine for months and now this all of a sudden... Thanks in advance.

Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /www/htdocs/cacti/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 339

Cannot connect to MySQL server on 'localhost'. Please make sure you have specified a valid MySQL database name in 'include/config.php'.

Hi

try to increase the number of MySQL connections (in /etc/mysql/my.cnf) :

set-variable  = max_connections=250
It worked for me on a "large" Cacti installation.
