Cacti does not completely support gathering data every 3 minutes. Use the default of 5 for now.

Because some server running Windows 2003, I need to gather all the traffic information. I want cacti to monitor more correctly as the real traffic. I changed some templets, but the windows server's traffic does not as real as estimated.

My question is: could you please tell me how to change all the templet to fit this condition?

The real traffic? you're probably experiancing the averaging that rrdtool does to the data. If you want to increase the data renention length, then you'll need to modify how many rows are in your rra files. Search the forum... this topic has been covered a lot.

Thanks, I have tried that. But it doesn't work as I want.

Is there any other way to let Win2k3 support ifXTable, I mean 64bit counter, or write a script to do this task?

Maybe snmp informant has that OID. Maybe you can collect it via WMI. You'll have to look into that.

Snmp informant does not have that OID. I'll try to use WMI.

Thank you all.
