I am running on a win2003 server with a 3rd party scheduler (Splinterware system scheduler), and it seems to be cool!
Does the waring from The Witness about using SYSTEM accound only appliy to the 5min. poller.php using the buildt-in windows scheduler??

Yes, only because thats the default scheduler that comes with windows. He/we haven't tested anything else.
