Graph management doesn't show a list of graphs

Post by Citadel »

Hello all,

I think I am missing something obvious but I can't figure out what. When i go to graph management it say "Showing Rows 1 to 6 of 6 [1]" yet there is nothing beyond that, not even place holders for pictures or anything. The MySQL database shows 6 entries in the table called graph_local which I believe is where the graph info is stored.

I am runnging MySQL 5 however I did run it in compatibility mode as shown below:
:ps aux |grep mysqld
root 2490 0.0 0.2 2308 1152 ? S 13:22 0:00 /bin/sh /usr/local/mysql/b in/mysqld_safe --sql-mode=MYSQL40
mysql 2508 0.1 3.1 101108 16304 ? Sl 13:22 0:02 /usr/local/mysql/libexec/m ysqld --basedir=/usr/local/mysql --datadir=/usr/local/mysql/var --user=mysql --pid-file=/us r/local/mysql/var/Oceanus.pid --skip-locking --sql-mode=MYSQL40
ctaylor 2776 0.0 0.0 1516 480 pts/0 S+ 13:48 0:00 grep mysqld
The RRD files are being created in the /rra directory and are updating. SNMP queries do work. As near as I can tell is a problem with how the page is getting information from MySQL but I can't see why. (If it can tell how many records there are it should be able to show said records).

Am I missing something here or have I really hit a wall that I can't get around?

Thanks in advance

Unless you're running the latest SVN code, MySQL 5 is not supported (yet). Go back to mysql 4.1 and your problem should be fixed.

I feel silly now. I read the part in the announcement about MySQL not being supported but misread the part about using the latest SVN repository. (Poop).

All if well now and I have all my hosts being graphed nicely.

Thanks for the help
