install.php loop

Post by r3r2 »

I follow through the install.php steps. after I click finish, nothing is displayed. If I tried to navigate back to the index.php of cacti, i get directed through the install steps again. It's a endless loop. Any ideas?

I split your reply into it's own message, because, where you posted, that persons issues was resolved.

So, are you running Mandrive 2006?

So, the install doesn't finish? Have you attempted to close and reopen the browser? What browser are you using?

i have tried multiple browsers on multiple machines/os with the same result. As an experiment I tried loading a different machine running SUSE 10.x and got things going, so Im not sure what's different w/mandriva. i know php/mysql are working as I have other portals running on this (mandriva) host.

Just wondering if you managed to get this fixed. I'm having the same problem with a fresh install.
