I seem to be having the same problems as everyone here has had but can't get it to work properly.

I am also using RHEL 4.

Thanks

It is my opinion that this is related to php 5 - I went back to 4.3.3 and it fixed my problems.

I am running php-4.3.9-3.8 but I finally did a clean install/upgrade and added the prepatch files and started the service. All seems to be graphing well.

Now the only question I have is should I now apply all the patches on the cacti site?

I dont think that the patches will cause you problems. Just in case, just make a copy of the cacti directory prior to patching.... you can always copy the old unpatched directory back if you run into problems.

You must also clear the poller cache.
