No rrd files created so obviously no graphs

ok, i made this is the result.

Windowx xp pro sp2
cacti-cactid-0.8.6f-1.zip
cacti-0.8.6g.zip
mysql-noinstall-4.1.15-win32.zip
rrdtool-cygwin-1.2.11.zip
net-snmp-5.2.2.pre1-1.win32.exe
and i have installed cygwin from www.cygwin.com as you toldme.


i have touched one more time the file cygwin1.dll and now i have the usual problem(after installed cygwin)

RRDTool Says:

ERROR: opening 'C:/www/Apache2/htdocs/www/Cacti/rra/gardener_traffic_in_92.rrd': No such file or directory

P.S.: i try 4500 diferents ways about setting cacti log.. Always apears weblog.

i will not use anymore 127.0.0.1 i will use my hostname and that way it working some things.

the thing is getting better but i'm still no getting updates on grahpics.

Well it appears cacti is polling devices fine and just the rrdtool update process is failing. That would mean you have a permission problem on rrdtool and/or the ./cacti/rra folder. Does the user running the scheduled task have modify rights to those folders?

Yes i have checked that. My user that i always use i put it at the folders and on the scheduled task.

I will check on more time.

i'm still stuck... IT'S SEEM 13:55 i touch something it work for five minutes,
and now it's at the same with the same trouble.

I have added the user in every place.. so ... i will don't have no more trouble about that... but i'm still the same..

You just said if you run poller.php, stuff updates but the scheduled task does not? That still points to a permission problem. How closely did you read my install guide regarding the various user permissions?

I'm not sure what to tell you besides double checking the folder AND file security settings on the folders/applications cacti uses.

What i do, about Permission folder is this.

The user that i created for "cactiuser" it's not cactiuser it's Gardener.

That's already my user on my windows xp that i always use. I follow your guide very very close. i'm still with problem.

No, looking at those scresnshots you did not follow the guide

1) The duration is 24 hours
2) "Gardnerer" needs read access to php, rrdtool and the cacti folder/files. it needs modify access to the cacti/log and cacti/rra folders. double check those permissions. Also check the permissions on the already existing rrd files.
3) Your scheduled task should start in: c:\www\apache2\htdocs\cacti\.
