Add "Interface - Traffic" Template

Post by bigbrother »

Hi

Why it's not possible to add the "Interface - Traffic" template???

In the drop down menu in my "device" under "Associated Graph Templates" are many other templates not visible, which are listed under "Graph Templates"...

Why is that???

I would like to add a "Interface - Traffic" template for my tests... :D

Thanx for help

If it's not availabe, that typically means it's already being used for that host. If that's not the case, then you have some MySQL database issues.

There's an important difference between those Associated Graph Templates and the Associated Data Queries. The first one is for those items, taht belong to a single host; and that appear only once for a host (e.g. Number of Active Users). The second one is for those items, who appear with varying instances (e.g. interfaces, mounted partitions, ...).
It does not make sense to apply an "Interface Traffic Template" to a host. It mist be applied to Interfaces of that host. This is done by adding the Associated data Query e.g. for "Interface - Traffic".
