Not getting any data on the graphs

Post by validius »

I just DLed and set up the latest version of cacti on my SuSe 9.2 box. I'm using MySQL 4.1.x, PHP4, Apache2, RRDtool 1.0.x and Net SNMP 1.5.2.

Graphs for my Cisco gear are not being generated despite a (seemingly) successfull SNMP connection to the router.

Poller.php runs without error and gives the following output:
fileserver:/var/www/html/cacti # php poller.php

Update:

All my graphs grabed 15 minuts worth of data then mysteriously stopped getting data.

I have been manually running poller.php to attempt to trigger an error. could this be screwing things up?

Well it will throw off your data, since rrdtool is meant to collect data every 5 minutes.

To see what's really going on with cacti, turn the logging level to debug for a cycle and take a look in the log.
