graphing video conferencing information
I need to be able to monitor some video conferencing bandwidth usage information at an interval faster than every 5 mins (would prefer every 5 secs). Is this possible with cacti?

It would rely on spawning the data collection every 5 seconds. It MUST complete within those 5 seconds including all data source updates. You would have to adjust all RRA settings as well. It would lead to VERY BIG rrd datasets.
My resumee: don't do that

Before you look for a monitoring tool...
Ask yourself: Where will you get the data?
Can your routers or switches provide application level data?
Some Cisco gear has Netflow and / or NBAR statistics you can collect.
A simple Layer 2 RMON statistic of bytes in/out on an interface might not help you seperate voice / video / application statistics.
What kind of video gear are you using?
