How to back up cacti?

Can anyone please tell me the procedures for taking cacti back up and its components like mysql database

the easiest is to just copy the db files and cacti files directly from the filesystem to whatever you want to store your backups. you can also do a mysqldump, which is slightly safer, but i've always had good luck with raw file copies.

thanks man but what if i copy whole cacti,mysql, and php folder? when to restore i install php and mysql then i replace with back ups. will it work?
