I downloaded a nice template for CommuniGate Pro, which graphs a small percentage of the available data.
What is the procedure for adding to this template? I have the MIB file…
Thank you,
A.

You have to create the templates..
Best suggestion I can make is use a MIB browser (Getif) to figure out the OID's and setup Graph Templates and Data Queries as needed for the metrics that you would like to graph.

An easier way?
I guess I was asking if there is a faster/easier way when dealing with a lot of OIDs.

Create a snmp script for cacti which will query and spit out the values for the various OIDs.

Adding new oids
So,
As a newbie to cacti, I have a new device that has its own MIBS and Oids, not part of the oids included in the default install. How do I add those oids to cacti?? Is it a matter of taking the output of snmpwalk into a txt file and importing it?? BSOD2600 mentioned writing an snmp script, what would that look like?
I am new to snmp and cacti

Take a look in the Cacti documentation on the website or already existing snmp xml templates (like the snmp - interface one).
