Cisco AS5300 not getting read

Hi,
When I setup a "SNMP Generic OID Template" graph, I get nothing. The graph doesn't get generated. When I run the interface data query in verbose mode it shows up. If I do a snmpwalk to the specified OID I get a return on the value for the number of analog phones attached. I read on another post that you have to add a zero to the end of the oid . I did that as well.
The device status comes up as unknown. I can ping and snmpwalk to the device from the server command line.
snmpwalk -Os -c xxxxx -v 1 buster.rtr.trincoll.edu .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.19.1.1.2.0

enterprises.9.10.19.1.1.2.0 = Gauge32: 10

I was wondering if anyone has done a template for Cisco AS5300 router.
I have just started using Cacti, I hope someone would have some feedback.
