Cacti doesn't show all available graphs

Post by trishan »

Hi,
I just started using Cacti and looking at using it to monitor all the major routers and switches on campus. I am having some difficulty creating graphs. I am not sure if this is something I am doing or if its a odd feature of cacti. I am trying to generate a graph by using the template when in the create graph dropdown list under graph template for devices. The list is incomplete, it doesn't show all the available graphs shown when looking at the list of graph templates. Is there a way to select a graph template that is there but not listed on the dropdown list of graph templates.
I am running it on Debian Sarge Linux version 2.6.8-2-686-smp.
Cacti 0.8.6.c with standard poller.

Thanks

Go to Devices and select device. Then under associated graph templates, open the dropdown list "add graph template" 18 graphs are available to add. However and graph template 35 are available. For example only two"Host MIB" graphs show up when there are 4 to choose from. The two that are available are -logged in users and -processors. The CPU utilization and disk space are unavailable. I have noticed this even if the host template is selected as none.
