% of the bandwidth

dear all,

please help me to count the % of the bandwidth used on router interface.
Cacti has already read the speed interface. But when i try to create CDEF, cacti will always set the speed to 100000000.
how can i get the real speed automatically, so i can include on my bandwidth % calculation?

I.)
1. go Data Queries/SNMP - Interface Statistics /In/Out Bits
2. Delete rrd_maximum row in Suggested Values section.
3. Then go to CDEF
4. create new CDEF and give a name.
5. Create these lines:

Item#1 Special Data Source: CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE
Item#2 Custom String: 8
Item#3 Operator: *
Item#4 Special Data Source: CURRENT_DS_MAXIMUM_VALUE
Item#5 Operator: /
Item#6 Custom String: 100
Item#7 Operator: *

Then,

1.Import the templates shown below.

i already did all things you suggested, but the percentage calculation still not correct. from the calculation result, it seems like that cacti read the speed as 100 Mbps, not the real speed (128000 bps).
need your help furthermore to solve this.

After select interface you will see a page that shows inbound and outbound speed. Enter correct values.
Or, go to data sources of this graph and write down correct speed.
I think in this graph you leaved speed as 100.000.000 but it must be 120.000
Then you will see correct values..

Great template ... Have you tried this on high speed connections (10 Mb, 100 Mb, Gig etc.. )

I setup this up today and its working fine for my serial connections but the higher speeds are just getting 'NaN%'

Nevermind -- I reapplied the template and it worked back fine.
