Problem with red hat 8.0

i have installed cacti on machine red hat 8.0 apche 2.0 and mysql 3.23.52
i install cacti
i create database
after i make restore tabble mysql old cacti i had on machine rh7.2
i havent connection db when begin installation
i try with rh7.2 i make restore old db its ok
why???
help me please

I assume your new mysql server is functional. Your problem was probably caused by incorrect permissions to the database. Restore procedure does not set permissions automatically. You need to do it manualy after restoring according to cacti installation guide.
