bulk loading of hosts/devices?

Post by paulbeard206 »

Is this possible? Given a list of systems, IP addresses, and SNMP details, could cacti pull that in and even set up basic polling details?

if you have any perl experience it isn't really too bad to just put together a quick script to dump it into the database. i did that with 60 or so devices, saved LOTS of time because all the snmp strings are about 10 random characters.

Do you think you could post a sample of that script along with the version of cacti you used?

Thanks.

Not really available in 0.9.0, but easier for someone to write one.
