Restrict user from console access (Realm permissions)
Hello
Unless I give a user account "Console Access", I get an access denied error.
Not sure why this is the case as one should be able to uncheck everything within the realm permission list. I only want to allow "View Graphs".
Please help - thanks

Under the user, remove console access and select "Show default graph screen" under the "Login Options" section.

Sorry to have to resurrect such an old post, but I am having this problem, except the user is already configured to load the default graph screen on login. I have attached a screenshot of my user configuration. When this user logs in they are redirected to the access denied screen instead. If I grant "Console Access" everything works just fine, except the user goes directly to console rather than to the "Default Graph Screen", as configured. All graph policies for this user are 'allow', and he has been granted access to all three graph viewing modes...
Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks for replying. I was beginning to think I was the only one able to see my posts
All of my users default to "allow" for all graph permissions. If they log in and click the "graphs" tab, they can navigate and view graphs as you would expect. However, once I remove access to the console, they get the "access denied" page...

I'd suggest you mimick/copy the default Guest account for the security. if that account also has issues, then it's probably a bug. http://www.cacti.net/bugs.php
