Fatal Error while execute poller.php???

Post by adilalpman »

Fisrtly, i have to say i am very unexperienced about cacti, i use mrtg many times before but cacti is very new for me. I have two question now. Firstly, must I use php or php4 to run poller.php, which one? Secondly when i use "php poller.php" or "php4 poller.php" commands in my debian's console i get "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /var/www/cacti-mrtg/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 339" message and when i look cacti's graph page on the web i see mrtg pictures places but there seems to be blank. On the other hand i can logon successfully and i can install my cisco1900 device on cacti and i can logon sucessfully cacti's mysql db on debian's console. Please help me to how can i fix theese problems, thanks a lot...

Check that the debian package php4-mysql is installed and that there is a line with 'extension=mysql.so' in your php.ini. Then check your database settings in include/config.php.
