Can't monitor Partitions

Hi,

I can't monitor any of my mounted partitions! I can't select them and add them to my Host. (They are not shown).

There isn't anything in the manual that helps me... does somebody know what this mean?

There have been several post related to that. Please make sure, that you are using the latest ss_host_disk.php (there has been a patch for cacti 0.8.6g). And there's a bug in the docu: When upgrading, do NOT copy the old scripts over! Always you the new scripts provided by the distro.

Hi,

It was my first install of Cacti

I fixed the problem, the files where owned by root and apache user can't access them

It's the default gentoo setting to use chown root:root for webapps.

I changed permissions to apache:apache and everything works fine!

I seem to be having similar problems.. Even after i chown apache:apache I still get permission denied for /var/www/html/cacti/scripts/ss_host_disk.php

if I chmod 777 to test it runs but I get lots of errors...
