hddtemp problem

Post by kmpoppe »

Hello people.

I am trying to use hddtemp to get my cacti to, ... well ... display the temperature of my IDE drive.

I got my bash script to log the temp in a .log file to see whether it runs and whether it gets the right values - it does.

And, believe it or not, even the RRA is updated correctly.

Now, upon trying to create a graph from the Data Source I entered, the graph shows ... northing.

I wget'ted the image's URL and it just returns "0".

Has anybody any idea as to why this might be happening ?

Any soon answers will be appreciated.

Regards

Please let us know more about this issue.
A snipped from the cacti.log in DEBUG mode would help. Further information needed is from "Graph Management". Select your graph and turn on debug mode. What happens?

I solved my problem later the evening ... I forgot to make cacti use the values in a right manner within the Graph ...

Thanks for your concern, please be so kind as to read my next topic.
