Hey.. I'm a noob too =P

The data query should auto populate these fields. Did you put all the files in the proper directories above?

Ya I put everything in the directories as per your post. :)

It has all three of those fields blank. :(

Did you take the .txt off the perl script?

Other than that I'm not skilled enought to help you unfortunately..

Is this working for anyone else?

When you manually run the perl script from the command line, does it return anything? If not, then you need to make sure you have Perl installed and in your system path.

Ya Perl works fine. I get this when I run the script:
Unable to talk to WMI for localhost.
Same error when I try other servers as well. All are Win2k Server SP4.

I fixed this by changing the account the the worker process runs under in IIS 6.0. The account I used has access to the WMI repository on the remote machine.

Steps:
1. Open the IIS Manager in Administrative Tools
2. Expand Application Pools
3. Right-Click DefaultAppPool (or the custom pool you have assigned to Cacti) and go to properties.
4. Select the Identity Tab
5. Select the Configurable Radio Button and type in the account that has rights for access to remote WMI access.
6. Add this domain account to the local IIS_WPG on the machine.
7. Issue a iisreset at a command prompt.

You'll need Windows Server 2003 for this to work properly.
