Hi,
I'm linking the image generation code directly into excel to generate graphs on the fly containing a whole environment's worth of performance metrics. It appears that when I import a web data query in excel, pointing to something like "http://xx.xx.xx.xx/cacti/graph_image.ph ... 3&rra_id=1", rather than display the image, it displays the text PNG. I'm hoping that this is just Excel not being able to handle PNG files.
On second thought, I don't think Excel can handle the response as just a PNG file. It is probably expecting an HTML page or Table with data. In order for this to work, I may need to just generate a page in PHP which has all the links in a table - taking excel out of the picture all together.. :/
[Update]Found the setting in the template to change the image type to GIF. Didn't work.[/Update]
Change graph image type to JPG or GIF instead of PNG?
