How to stop increasing file size of dpid2.log

I use cacti version cacti-0.8.6d. I found a problem at agent. It generate dpid2.log and snmpdv3.log file and write data into every 5 secound. So filesystem not have free space for do enything. I must delete log every day.
Can i help please or explain cause of problem to me?
(Agent use AIX os)

that doesn't look cacti related in any way...? there shouldn't be anything running every 5 seconds, and those logfiles aren't cacti log files.

No, I know those files all to well....

AIX....

You need figure out how dpid is being started. If you have "-d <Number>" this setting the logging level. Reduce it or remove it. Check out the man pages on dpid2.

Also, those lost connection errors are usually related to changing the community name. Give IBM support a call, they can explain how to fix it. :)
