Install Problems

Im having some problems addind a cronjob.
I have createt the cactiuser and home dir, when i then SU cactiuser and try to crontab -e i just get an access denied..
Why is that?

Im running gentoo.

Sorry, no clue.
But a workaround: You may add an entry e.g. at /etc/cron.d/cacti (at least on RHEL 4) or at /etc/crontab.
