LDAP / OpenLDAP scripts for response time and operations
Hello,
I work a lot with LDAP directories, and for most of the time with OpenLDAP. I wrote two perl scripts for montoring these directories in Cacti.
UPDATE: The scripts are available at LTB project:
http://www.ltb-project.org
You can download them from: http://tools.ltb-project.org/projects/list_files/ltb

We use this alot here at the ISP I work for to monitor ldap for our mail servers. I had to make a change to the script however in order to allow monitoring of both older and newer versions of openldap that we are running. Seems they display values differently so I've attached the changed version here:
Feel free to remove my cvs tags and comments. We have to have that stuff here internally and I don't wish to take any credit.. it can probably be cleaned up better anyway

Folks, these templates can also be used for OpenLDAP > v2.2. See here: http://www.highlandsun.com/hyc/ldapguid ... slapd.html on how to set up slapd to include the monitoring stuff. Obviously, the responsetime template works regardless...
