Cannot find module (IP-MIB)

Cannot find module (IP-MIB)

I am seeing the following error:

You did not follow the installation guide and create a MIBSDIR system variable. Please re-read it.

I did follow the installation guide and i have the MIBDIRS and PHPRC variables.

The MIBDIR System variable didn't work with windows.

do you use windows?

make c:\etc\mibs and copy the mibs file in this dir

if your PHP files are stored on D: do the same on D: too, don't ask me why, but thats the way I did it.

Anything else didn't work.

Yes I am using windos XP.

I am just wondering if that error related to installing Cacti on Windows XP with SP2. Did anyone successfully install it on Windows XP?

Search the forums the docs on the cacti website are wrong.

fix the problem and reboot.

The variable is correct and i am still getting:

I had same problem and what I did was create to variables --

MIBSDIR = c:\php\mibs
MIBDIRS = c:\php\mibs

I also copied the files form C:\net-snmp\share\snmp\mibs\ to C:\php\mibs\.

Which one fixed my problem don't know, try them all.

I then rebooted and problem went away.

The correct system variable you need to create is MIBDIRS and of course point it to the location of where the MIB files live on your system.
