Multi graphs for many hosts from a single data query

Post by metos »

Hello,

My aim is to monitor the evolution of Oracle tablespace.
I have 4 varibles:

SID ............ Name of the database
TblName ..... Name of the tablespace
used ........... Mo used
total ............ Mo total

I managed to graph all these values with a data query.
All the data are saved in one file on the cacti server.
I've created a virtual machine, to separate the collect of system values and the oracle values. But i have on the same page all the tablesapce of all the database.

+- Database
--+- virtual host
SID1 toto
SID1 titi
SID1 tata
SID2 toto
SID2 data
SID3 data
SID3 test
SID3 sys
+- server
--+- host1 \
--+- host2 > Classic Cacti graph
--+- host3 /

I've created multiple (virtual) hosts and I'd like to only have the database of the host. But i don't know how to do except creating 30 different data query.

the result i'm lokking for would be like that:

+- Database
--+- virtual host
SID1 toto
SID1 titi
SID1 tata
--+- virtual host2
SID2 toto
SID2 data
--+- virtual host3
SID3 data
SID3 test
SID3 sys
--+- server
--+- host1 \
--+- host2 > Classic Cacti graph
--+- host3 /

Is there a way to send a parameter value in the data query like with a data input method or maybe a special thing in the xml definition File ?

Thanks,

Metos
