Cacti Web Interface vulnerability

Post by gturrubi »

How do I check for the version of the web interface for cacti?

The cacti CGI Web interface prior to version 0.6.8a allows a remote
attacker to execute arbitrary command-line commands because it
does not properly filter shell metacharacters from the title
string. The attacker will need administrative access to the CGI to
perform the attack.
The vendor confirmed this vulnerability.

Click the Cacti. Versions 0.8.6f++ have no reported vulnerabilities.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
