Red X's no RRD files being created

Finshed the install and got Cacti up and running. Trying to poll a Cisco switch. It's seeing that it is there but not creating RRD files. Getting the dreaded 'red x' when trying to display the data.

Any ideas why the RRD's are not being created. I'm sure the answer is staring at me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First problem:

No valid output from the .pl script. What happens if you run it manually?

Thanks for the reply.

When I run script, I get a failure becasue the app CAT does not exist. I'm assuming that this is from the fact its a Linux script that is trying to run against a Win box. I removed that device from the listing.

However, still getting the evil, dreaded 'red X' against my Cisco device when trying to output the graphs. No RRD's being produced. Here is the latest debug:

Any reason why your using a script to get memory info instead of a normal SNMP query ?

Script? Not especially.

As far as the Cisco device goes, I'm using the Cisco template that was included in the install.

Well valid data is being returned from your cisco router, so thats fine.

1) what versions of everything are you using?
2) You're using rrdtool-cygwin build instead of Win32, right ?
3) does the user running the scheduled task have rights to create/write to your rrd folder ?

RRD not cygwin but the Win32 binary. I see from the debug that the data is being generated but no graphs. Is this something as simple as misplaced image files?

User that the task is running under has local admin rights and specific full control rights on all the relevant dirs.

You MUST use the RRDTool Cygwin build!

I had an incorrect path specified for the TT font for RRDTool.
