Weather.com or alternate weather scripts?

Post by javierin »

Hi.

I have been browsing the forums for some time searching for information on how to add new scripts to monitor both weather and lm_sensors.

What I found (which I didn't manage to install) was a weatherbug script that got the temperature with tenths of degree precision. I went to the webpage but it seems to cover only US, and what I'm looking for is to monitor my hometown temp, in Spain, Europe.

Has anybody modified weatherbug script to fetch data from weather.com?

Thanks in advance,
Javier.

Hmmm....

Weatherbug.com does have world weather service, including spain. However, the real issue here is that you need to get the site to output the weather results in an easily parse format, such as comma-delimited.

I played around on the site for a little while, but as of yet still have figured out how to get that data out of it.
