.68a slightly broken, 80 not working at all

Post by slashburn »

I tried cvs .80. First, the cacti.sql file doesn't look like it's been updated. Next, I have no idea about the particulars of RH8's apache and php setups; maybe the admin messed with the mime configuration, but would it hurt to do s/<?/<?php/ for all the stock php files? The schema in cacti.sql looks terminally broken, and I can't go through all the php files to derive the correct schema. Table and row names both appear to be wrong.

Next I tried .68a. This worked after changing <? to <?php though I get those blank pages after login that are mentioned in other threads.

Actually it would be quite easy to "fix" the <?'s in cacti's PHP files, but I am saving this for 0.8 since it would be pointless to make another release of 0.6.8 at this point. Not that I expect 0.8 to work flawless for you (yet), but the updated SQL schema can be found at 'dev/sql/complete_db-ian.sql' in the CVS tree.

Now that it's on my mind, I think I'll fix the PHP files in CVS now...
