Cygwin ?

Post by snoop »

Do I absolutly need to run cygwin on win2003 for cacti? I followed the install guide recomending the full install of cygwin. After installing the full package I found that this was over 2GB of space and I would like to conserve it a bit more than that. If I need cygwin which it appears that I do after deleting the cygwin dir and the no more graphing is being recorded, what are the bare bones components that need to be installed? Is there a better version to use on windows Xcygwin or something?

Many Thanks!

Snoop,

You only need the minimal install of Cygwin which is pretty small.
