Cactid problems.

Post by rfloreschile »

Hi,

I have a Debian with cacti Version 0.8.6f and cactid. with the poller cmd.php all the graphics are fine (i have Hosts: 21, Hosts/Process: 11, Data Sources 1823), but when select cactid, some graphs go to blank.
The server looks fine (top attached):

top - 15:24:16 up 20:03, 2 users, load average: 0.00, 0.04, 0.00
Tasks: 64 total, 1 running, 63 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 100.0% user, 0.0% system, 0.0% nice, 0.0% idle
Mem: 905400k total, 747236k used, 158164k free, 56816k buffers
Swap: 501816k total, 0k used, 501816k free, 556960k cached

any ideas?

rfloreschile,
what kind of data queries or input methods are behind those graphs? Are they snmp queries or selfmade scripts? I remember, there where some differences in the way cactid works with repect to the normal poller (trailing blanks or CR ...). Please run cacti polling in DEBUG mode and have a look at the log file. Search for "output: U".
