The easiest way to add new traffic graphs is by using cacti's builtin SNMP support.

Login to cacti and click on 'SNMP Interfaces'. Click 'Add' and type the IP address or hostname of the machine you want to moniter. You must also enter the SNMP comminuty (is usually 'public').

Click save and wait while cacti gathers the host's interfaces. When finished click on 'View Gathered Interfaces' next to the host you just typed in.

You will see that host's interfaces listed in a table format. Click on 'Make Graph' next to each interface you want to graph. Cacti will create the data sources and graphs for you, all you have to do is wait 5 minutes for your data to be collected.

If you have any problems, make sure the $path_snmp variable in the 'include/config.php' points to the path where 'snmpwalk' and 'snmpget' binaries are located.
