Hi everybody. I've got exactly the same problem: no graphs and snmp error.
I'm running cacti with these components:

Os : Red Hat Linux Release 8.0
PHP : PHP Version 4.3.1
MySQL : 11.18 Distrib 3.23.58
Cacti : 0.6.8.a
RRD : 1.0.40

The fact is that until last sunday, all graphs were working OK. I don't really know what happened and where to start checking. Please help me...
