I know that this isn't a new topic, but I'm not much for Win2k security. I know that my issue probably lies in cmd.exe permissions. Can anyone post more explicit instructions on modifying the execute privileges on cmd.exe? Or suggest other things for me to try?
(Everything works great from the command line, so I assume it's cmd.exe) (ick, DOS)
Why, oh why, won't they let us run *nix on our laptops???
Update
Let me back up... All of the required software components appear to be there and functioning normally, with the exception of generating graphs from within the web page. Whenever I access the "graphs" section of Cacti, I get broken thumbnails. rrd can generate graphs when I run rrdtool from the command line.
I've seen many postings which I understand to discuss file permissions on cmd.exe - yet I've not seen explicit instructions on what to modify. (I'm not experienced in the nuances of Win2K... or any windows... file security)
As far as any of the provided data gathering scripts, I'm using my own. I've been running Cacti on Solaris9 for about 5 months...
Still stuck on generating graphs
