I've already searched the forums for any hints and checked some settings, but somehow, something is still missing.

After installing cacti I opened up the browser pointed to http://localhost/cacti/ and got the following error:

Also, there are NO directories to be created inside the cacti dir (so rrd/ and log/ still missing), so I guess the poller.php doesn't run either properly... but cron jobs do get executed!

OK, I'm sorry, I'm fcuking stupid. I upgraded my cacti version before I set up cacti the first time. So I got a new config.php.rpmnew file in the include/ dir. Just moved it to config.php, changed user/pass for mysql - now it work.
