What is your RRA type: "GUAGE", "COUNTER"?? Counter must be a simple integer "23.1" will not work.

Gauge is the type

Well, I've added the output field to the script (called temp:) and I've added it to the data input method as 'temp:'. Now I get a number in the graph but it's zero all the time instead of 'nan'. Howver in the debug log I am still seeing the right values output.

CMDPHP: Poller[0] Host[72] DS[1487] CMD: perl /var/www/html/cacti/scripts/check_temp.pl 10.13.210.210, output: temp:25.0

Should there be a space after 'temp:' and/or before the value?
