Erron Installing new cacti

Hi,

I am having problem when installating new cacti on my nix box.

1st i was having error.

cacti Installation Guide (Step 2)
Cacti has determined the following information about your setup:


Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/cacti/install.php on line 202
New Installation

The following information has been determined from cacti's configuration file. If it is not correct, please edit 'include/config.php' before continuing.

Database User: root
Database Hostname: localhost
Database: cacti
Server Operating System Type: unix


Then i found a post here in which it was mention to make tables of cacti from sql script cacti.sql i done that.

above error gone but now its giving me error.
