Fatal error on cacti graph management

Post by alphademon »

Hi There,

Has anyone experienced this problem before? This only happens when i get into graph management.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: sanitize_search_string() in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/cacti/graphs.php on line 1000

I can't get a solution for this. Everything else works fine.

My config.php was from the original code and no changes has been made.

Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, take config.php.dist and overwrite config.php. Don't forget to update the database information.

It seems that the function was missing in functions.php.

Copy the function sanitize_search_string thats in <cactidir>/lib/functions.php.bak to functions.php

The function is the last in the file.

Hope it will help you.

I'm having this same problem after installing thold, but I don't see the sanitize function in the old functions.php.bak.

Any suggestions?
