MartinM,
Please goto "Settings->Paths" and make sure that your PHP Binary Path is "<path_php>/php-win.exe". You should be much happier then.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

I may have found a possible solution to the Waiting 1/1 issue, I caught a tip that one of the previous entries regarding the different "/ \" to use. If you are using Windows XX then try using the proper direction of slash " \ " for all file name paths. When using Unix based path use the "/ " slash for paths. I was just beating my head with a stick trying to figure this one out too, and then tried that and the Loop went away, I get to cmd.exe windows that pop up and then close and tada a file appeared in the rra directory containing the image information.

As a developer, let me state that Cacti "prefers" forward slashes. This is especially true for scripts. This also applies to Cactid. The mixture of forward slashes and back slashes in your logs is acceptable as well.

Cactid on Win2k
I'm unable to run cactid on win2k because of the "Waiting on 1/1 pollers." issue described in this thread.
I was looking for a shorter polling time (I was polling almost constantly because it took about 4:30 mins to complete a poll). I increased the threads from 1 to 10 (duh) and that got my poll cycle down to 45 secs.
What's the real advantage to cactid over cmd.php?

I have a patch for proper 1 minute intervals. However, please wait on Cacti 0.8.6g and Cactid 0.8.6f. I think it will definately help.
