Problem : Waiting on 1/1 pollers plzz help

Hello
I installed cacti on windows yesterday with easyphp 1.8
adn it worked fine until this afternoon.
Now when i execute

Code: Select all

php poller.php

, it answers:
"Waiting on 1/1 pollers." and continue all other the time.
Do you know where the problem is ?!!??

Versions :
CACTI 0.8.6c,
Easyphp 1.8: php 4.3.10, mysql 4.1.9

In that location, you will find several patches. Please apply lib/poller.php patch and let me know if that fixes your problem.

fixed my waiting for poller 1/1 issue, but now i have a new one when i run php-win poller.php....

no log handling enabled-turning on stderr logging..
notification-log-mib module not found
net-snmp-agent-mib module not found

and in another window a bunch of OKs and numbers and two error: not enough arguments

what is this? i have MIBDIRS pointing to the right place...

also, only some of my graphs come up..

it works now. turns out net-snmp didn't work right for some reason. my co-worker uninstalled it and installed the microsoft one and it works.. odd.

Martin: i got rid of my rrdtool and replaced it with the cygwin rrdtool.
THEN, i got rid of net-snmp and replaced it with the microsoft version - i admittedly felt guilty replacin with MS, but it works so..... meh.

OK. After few days of trying, retrying and grunting... I've finally made it to produce some .RRD datas. However, I'm still having some weird results... here's how it goes:

I doubt it. I've not used EasyPHP. (do you also have the problem of "Waiting on 1/1 pollers" looping endlessly?)

At this moment, I've tweaked the code a bit to break the loop of "Waiting on 1/1 pollers" after 2 times and I've created a batch file calling both the CMD.PHP and POLLERS.PHP at a 5 minutes interval.

It's a really rough patch, I don't know if it will induce more problems in the future but for now, it's working (at last).

-- If someone has any idea of a better fix, I would be really thankful.
