Only NaN values being graphed, *sigh*

Post by jdijulio »

I just installed Cacti, I used to use an older version of it from a few years ago. Had it setup the way I like it, but am moving to a new box. I followed all the steps on the Linux/Unix configuration guide in the documentation. This is a FreeBSD 4.11-RELEASE machine that I'm installing on.

The problem I am having is that no matter what I do, I *only* am getting NaN values for anything that I try to monitor. I've tried the localhost as well as a remote host. It connects just fine, but I don't get any values for anything. When i tried running the poller manually (php poller.php) I get what looks like okay queries, but as I said, I got nothing but NaN values. I've verified that indeed the two directories are owned by 'cactiuser'.

I guess I don't know what to do next. I've even tried reinstalling the program in a differant directory to no avail.

Can anyone offer me any assitance here?

Thanks in advance!

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
